Call From Where (this website, callfromwhere.com) is a free
area-code lookup tool published by FMNM, LLC. This page describes exactly
what data the site accesses, what it does with it, and what it does
not do.
This site collects nothing about you. The lookup data is sent to your browser once when you load the page and runs entirely on your device. We do not see what you search for. We do not run analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking scripts.
Even on a fully-static site, a couple of parties handle basic web data by design. We disclose them here for full transparency:
The area-code summary table is embedded directly in the page HTML and
filtered locally by your browser as you type. Detailed per-NPA rate
centers are loaded on demand from this same domain
(callfromwhere.com/rc_data.json) when you tap an area
code. Either way, your search query is never sent over the network
— not to us, not to anyone.
Donations are voluntary, entirely user-initiated, and processed by Stripe. They are not tax-deductible — FMNM, LLC is a for-profit company, not a registered charity. We do not retain payment-card information. Refund requests should be sent to contact@fmnm.us within 90 days.
This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any data from children (or from anyone else).
Because we collect no personal data, there is no data to access, correct, export, or delete on our side. To stop using the site, simply close the tab. Cloudflare's and Stripe's data-rights policies apply separately for any data they hold; see their privacy policies linked above.
If a future version of the site introduces any data collection — for example, adding analytics or accepting user-contributed labels — this page will be updated before that change takes effect, and the change will be summarized here with a new effective date. Material changes will additionally be flagged in a banner on the home page.
